How the surcharge is calculated
The fuel surcharge is a percentage of the base charge. The exception is our Munich courier service, which carries no fuel surcharge.

BACKGROUND
Why there is a fuel surcharge
Fuel is one of the largest costs in moving a shipment, and its price never stands still. Rather than repricing every base charge whenever the fuel price shifts, we charge for fuel as a separate percentage. Base charges stay stable, and any change is easy to see.
When the rate changes, the new one appears here with the date it takes effect.
